Ranch Country Horse Sale Results

September 11, 2010 – Maple Creek Sask.

The Ranch Country Horse Sale brought good prices for producers and consignors.

The 33 colts brought an average price of $630 while the 5 yearlings in the sale averaged $850.

The average price for the 11 saddle horses brought in by members equalled $2,740 while the 20 consigned saddle horses brought an average of $3,332 per head.

The high selling saddle horse was Lot # 80 – PM Remagos Solynx – a2005  red roan mare owned by Milt Mastad of McCord, Sask., and shown by his 11-year-old daughter, Devany. The gentle mare caused quite a stir with the crowd and the successful bidder was Hawkeye Ranching of Irvine, Alta.

The high selling foal was a bay roan stud owned by Roger Parsonage and sired by his new blue roan stud No ID Blue Legend. The foal brought $2,300 and was purchased by Joe Friday of Maple Creek, Sask.
