May 24, 1955 – Nov 3, 2012.

Popular outfitter, noted mule man and highly-regarded cowboy poet, Fred Miller passed away after a short battle with cancer.

Fred’s unique look, and distinctive eye patch, made him a favourite subject for many renowned artists and photographers. Fred was the author of Leftovers, Latigoes & Lies, and was a frequent contributor to the cowboy poetry page of Canadian Cowboy.
