Chocolate Zucchini Cake

  • ¼ cup shortening
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1?¾ cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2?½ cups flour
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 2 cups zucchini, grated
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup sour milk 
  • (adding 1 tsp of vinegar or lemon juice will sour milk)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp soda
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp cloves

Combine all ingredients and bake in a 9″ x 13″ pan at 325°F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
