Nancy Csabay of Taber, Alta., is completely unconcerned about the “Vegas Line” developing on the forecasting of the Canadian LBR Championship.
“I don’t even look at that; it doesn’t matter to me,” she says.
Her relationship with her talented horse, her friends, competitors and the whole CFR experience is paramount.
“It’s all about me and Wicked being one and enjoying every moment,” she says, “and being IN the moment. If I looked at “perhaps I will be the Canadian champ again” then I wouldn’t be living in the moment–I’d be living in the future.”
Interestingly, Csabay didn’t win a round last year and still ended up the 2015 Canadian LBR Champion.
“Hell no, I hadn’t won a round here in seven years!,” she laughs, “so winning the round last night was a new experience for me–and a great one!”
