It was the fourth perfect night in Dawson Creek, British Columbia for 2010 Battle of the North Championship, and the final four have been set for Sunday’s sudden death championship final heat where the winner will take home the 2010 Battle of the North Championship and a $10,000.00 bonus cheque.

Four-time Battle of the North champion Kelly Sutherland was tops in aggregate with a four-day combined time of 5:08.26, and will be joined by Jason Glass, Colt Cosgrave and Jerry Bremner in Sunday’s final. Buddy Bensmiller finished in 5th place overall and just missed the sudden death final by a mere 8 one-hundreds of a second.

 As far as the day results go, it was Kelly Sutherland who took top money with a time of 1:14. Coming off barrel number 1 in heat 9, Sutherland, driving the Borek Construction Ltd. outfit had the fast time of the week and placed first on the day by 44 one-hundreds of a second over Hugh Sinclair who placed 2nd on the night despite a one-second penalty. Had Sinclair’s running time been clean, he would have established a new Dawson Creek track record. Colt Cosgrave, Jason Glass and Grant Profit filled out the top 5 for the night.
