Ted Stovin is from Drayton Valley, AB. His real name may be William but Canadian Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Clayton Hines told him he might as well enter as Ted because that's what everyone knew him as anyway. He started out his rodeo career in 2002 at his hometown rodeo in the Steer Riding. Since then he as taken his rodeo career to 4 different countries as a bull rider. In 2009 he rode in those 4 Countries of Canada the United States, Brazil and Mexico in just two months! The highlight of his career so far in his mind though was his 91.5 point ride on the Northcott Rodeo Bull Moccassin Bead to win the Jasper Pro Rodeo in 2010.
