Ted Stovin is from Drayton Valley, AB. His real name may be William but Canadian Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Clayton Hines told him he might as well enter as Ted because that's what everyone knew him as anyway. He started out his rodeo career in 2002 at his hometown rodeo in the Steer Riding. Since then he as taken his rodeo career to 4 different countries as a bull rider. In 2009 he rode in those 4 Countries of Canada the United States, Brazil and Mexico in just two months! The highlight of his career so far in his mind though was his 91.5 point ride on the Northcott Rodeo Bull Moccassin Bead to win the Jasper Pro Rodeo in 2010.

The last 4 years for Ted have consisted of going to college in New Mexico where he graduated with his Associate's Degree of Arts in May of 2010; taking in the sights and sounds of Fabulous Las Vegas, NV while going to school there for a year and jumping off and on of over 50 different flights during that short 9 months; and starting his own company and website by the name of Everything Cowboy which he puts his passion for the sport of rodeo and the cowboy way of life into promoting them for fans and contestants alike. Now for 2012 will set up base in Calgary, AB where he will start the next chapter of his life. He starts classes there at the University of Calgary where he will finish out his Bachelor of Commerce Degree.

You can also find her working at any one of the tradeshows that Cowboy Country participates in; so if you’re in the area, make sure to stop by her booth and say hi. She’ll no doubt welcome you with a big, bright smile!

Besides her work with Cowboy Country, Meghann is also the online marketing specialist for Tanner Young Marketing, where she heads various social media projects. Meghann is also the Hotel Package Coordinator for the Edmonton Destination Hotel group, helping people coordinate tickets and hotel rooms for some of the biggest events in Edmonton, including the Edmonton Indy and Canadian Finals Rodeo.

She grew up on a small farm east of Edmonton and is the proud owner of two miniature horses, Alf and Nevada.  While having been immersed in the country lifestyle most of her life, Meghann also enjoys travelling, and recently spent a year living in Rüdesheim, Germany where she taught English as part of a scholarship program. Meghann returned to the Cowboy Country family in June 2011, and is very excited to be full-time.

When she’s not working away in the office, Meghann can be spotted exploring Edmonton’s vibrant arts and culture scene as well as taking in all the entertainment at the city’s many famed festivals and events. She loves to be out and about meeting new people, so drop her a line - she always welcomes conversations with new people!
