She grew up in the Edmonton area, dividing her time between sports, gymnastics and riding. Tayler's parents both rodeoed so she spent many summers on the circuit. As she got older, Tayler decided she wanted to follow in her mothers footsteps and began barrel racing at amateur rodeos. She quickly fell in love with the lifestyle and continued on her journey as a rodeo cowgirl. When Tayler is not travelling the rodeo circuit she frequents ropings, barrel racings, cattle sortings and various rough stock events.
She is always looking for ways to challenge herself and expand her knowledge. This spring Tayler is learning to rope like her father and taking dressage lessons to improve her riding. Being a student means that Tayler works as a waitress and bartender during the winter months to help pay for tuition and the cost to rodeo all summer. Her greatest loves are her horses, Australian Shepherd Cody, rodeo and writing. When Tayler is not busy working, studying or riding she enjoys nights out with her girlfriends, dancing and singing old Shania Twain songs on karaoke.
