Day 3 – 2011 Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship – Bonnyville, AB

Heavy afternoon rains in Bonnyville have made for unsafe racetrack conditions resulting in day 3 of the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship not being run as scheduled on Saturday night. Officials from the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Committee and the World Professional Chuckwagon will be meeting Sunday morning to discuss whether the show will be shortened or postponed.

Chuckwagon radio will still have a radio program live on Saturday, August 6 starting at 7:00pm on Classic Country AM1060 out of Calgary, 890AM CJDC out of Dawson Creek and 99.7 FM The Wolf out of Bonnyville. Guest will include many of the drivers, outriders and committee members who will give further detail on the status of the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship.

Grant Profit sits first overall with a 2-day combined time of 2:32.65. He is 16 one-hundreds of a second faster than Luke Tournier, followed by Kelly Sutherland, Mike Vigen and Jason Glass. The driver posting the best aggregate time at the conclusion of the show will be declared the champion of the 2011 Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship.

Racing from the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship can be heard live on Sunday, August 7 starting at 2:00pm on Classic Country AM1060 out of Calgary, 890AM CJDC out of Dawson Creek and 99.7 FM The Wolf out of Bonnyville.
