Amish buggy, FedEx truck collide near Canadian border

Authorities say several Amish adults and children have been taken to a hospital after their horse-drawn buggy was involved in a collision with a FedEx truck on a northern New York road.

State police tell local media outlets that the accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Monday on Route 37 in Massena, on the Canadian border in St. Lawrence County. Four children and three adults were riding in the buggy. Two of the children reportedly suffered serious injuries and were taken to Massena Memorial Hospital.

The adults and the two other children were also taken to the hospital.

Troopers in Massena say no additional information was available Tuesday morning.
