Congratulations to the 2013 Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame inductees!
This year’s storied list includes three competitors, a long time supporter and builder of the sport and one of rodeo’s the most respected rope horses.
In the Builder category, long time Falkland Stampede committee member Merv Churchill of Falkland, B.C., receives the honour; in the competitor category is Canadian Barrel Racing Champion (1982, 1983) Gina McDougall-Cohoe of Cochrane, Alta., Canadian Bareback Champion (1992, 1994, 2001) Bill Boyd of Didsbury, Alta., and the late Arnold Haraga, 1970 Canadian Steer Wrestling Champion and All Around Cowboy. To be inducted under the Animal category is Larry Robinson’s renowned rope horse, Fred.
