Iconic Canadian singer-songwriter Ian Tyson will release a new album called Carnero Vaquero through roots music label Stony Plains Record. Now 81, Tyson shows no sign of slowing down! His latest CD includes 10 songs that reflect on the changing cowboy tradition, while remaining as true as the Western sky. On top of five brand new songs — some co-written with country greats such as Kris Demeanor and Tom Russell — you’ll hear remakes of traditional classics, including “Darcy Farrow”.
