Bill Gilchrist
1928-2015
William Norris “Bill” Gilchrist of Maple Creek, Sask., died on March 15, 2015. He was 86.
Well known in rodeo and ranching circles, the family was featured in Canadian Cowboy Country Aug/Sept 2009.
Bill was a lifetime member of the Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association and a past recipient of the Working Cowboy Award at the Canadian Western Agribition in Regina.
He is survived by his wife Helen of nearly 60 years, three children and six grandchildren.
A tribute to Bill’s memory will be held during the Maple Creek Ranch Rodeo on July 4, 2015.
